Chris Marker’s series of short documentaries titled after 13 Greek words is more relevant than ever, like all of Marker’s works it has a strange history, between visibility and oblivion (the Onassis foundation who commissioned it in 1989 eventually decided not to air it). It speaks greek, french, english, japanese - historians from all over the world sat at the table, ate, laughed and remembered. I will carry the whole series on a usb-key through Athens and #Documenta14 - for whoever wants to copy, infuse, distil & repeat. Or anyone who needs the link. (à Athens, Greece)
